Our Story

If you're reading this, you're joining a movement a decade in the making. What began as a simple idea—exchanging community service hours for concert tickets—has blossomed into Concerted: a national tech nonprofit that transforms volunteerism into access to extraordinary experiences.

Our journey started in 2012 with a question: What if passion for service could open doors to cultural enrichment and joy? Today, volunteers across America use our platform to "bank" their service hours and redeem them for concerts, films, museum exhibitions, sporting events, and performances—no money required, just time well spent helping others.

We operate through vibrant local hubs nationwide, guided by the profound belief that both volunteerism and shared cultural experiences have an unmatched power to foster human connection.

Behind every volunteer opportunity on Concerted are thousands of nonprofit partners who trust us with their missions. This collaboration enables us to offer a rich tapestry of ways to contribute—from restoring urban green spaces to supporting literacy programs to assisting at animal shelters. Each volunteer can find something that resonates with their personal values and talents.

Equally vital are our partnerships with concert promoters, venue owners, sports franchises, museums, theaters, and cultural institutions. Their generosity allows us to celebrate extraordinary talent while ensuring these transformative moments are accessible to everyone willing to give their time in service.

In a world that often feels divided, Concerted exists to strengthen the threads that connect us. We envision a more compassionate society where service to community is rewarded with experiences that expand hearts, minds, and fosters more tolerance. Where financial barriers dissolve, and where giving back and coming together become part of the same beautiful cycle.

This is more than a platform—it's a movement. And now, you're part of it.

With gratitude and hope,

Sarah Murray
